Sally runs group lessons during term time on:

 

  • Tuesday from 5:15pm to 7pm
  • Thursday from 5:15pm to 6:45pm
  • Friday from 5pm to 7:15pm
  • Saturday from 8:15am to 10:45am

 

Class session running times vary depending on ability:

 

  • 30 minutes: Beginners, Improvers & Intermediate
  • 45 minutes: Advanced (Level 6 Plus)


10 sessions in Spring & Summer and 12 sessions in Autumn

 

To find the car park and location of the swimming centre, download the school's site map.  The entrance is off Petworth Road (use Gurdon's Lane entrance near the playing fields rather than main building entrance).


Changing rooms are available on site. 


Shoes and food are not allowed poolside. Arrive 5 mins before the lesson, showered and in swimming kit (boys preferably close fitting swimming trunks not board shorts). Girls should have hair tied back or wear a swim hat (not essential).  Bring goggles and armbands if required. 


To book classes, register as a member to Sally's Swim School for FREE to be added to a waiting list and communications for upcoming classes. Once there is space, you will be approved and able to access bookings and pay online. Full details of classes and dates are available on the membership system.

FAQs for Group Lessons

What do I need to bring?

Swimmers need a towel, goggles and armbands (if required). They should be in their swimming kit (boys preferably close fitting swimming trunks not board shorts) and showered 5 minutes before the lesson. Girls should have hair tied back or wear a swim hat (not essential). Shoes and food are not permitted poolside.

Do you have changing facilities?

Yes, King Edwards School has changing and toilet facilities in the swimming building. Please arrive in plenty of time to change and be ready for your lesson at least 5 minutes before the start time.

When and how do I pay for the lessons?

We moved to a new online system for 2022. You can now join Sally's Swim Club for free to be added to a waiting list. Once registered you will have access to online bookings for classes. Simply click the button above to join/renew/sign in.

Can I watch the lesson?

Please follow current Covid-19 guidelines.

Do I need to stay for the whole lesson?

Yes. A parent/guardian must stay with the child during the whole lesson.

How long are the lessons?

Beginners, improvers and intermediate are 30 minute sessions and advanced is 45 minutes.
